Ever had a moment where no matter what you do, your face looks as if it’s permanently blushing? Well that’s what many sufferers of Rosacea go through, except it’s an ongoing condition.
In most cases, rosacea only affects the face. Symptoms can include:
- Frequent redness of the face, or flushing
- Small, red lines under the skin
- Acne (acne rosacea)
- Thick skin, usually on the forehead, chin, and cheeks
- Red, dry, itchy eyes and sometimes vision problems
No one knows what causes rosacea. You may be more likely to have it if you blush a lot or if rosacea runs in your family. Rosacea is not dangerous. Best of all, there are natural ways to deal with this condition like the one offered by instagram beauty blogger Alexandra Potora.
Soak 2 chamomile tea bags in 1 cup ice. Place the bags on the affected areas for 5 min.
Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce inflammation & redness. The active ingredients terpenoids & flavonoids are soothing too.
Put the pot on a steady surface, sit above it & cover the head w/ a towel, to create a ⛺️above the pot. Keep 👀 closed & face at least a foot above. Do this 5-10 min.
Neroli oil✨balances the sebum produced by our sebaceous glands which can be overactive in rosacea sufferers.
Green tea antioxidants✨may help reduce inflammation associated w/ rosacea.
Soak 1 green tea bag in a cup of hot 💦 & set it aside.
3 teaspoons ground oatmeal
3 tsps yogurt
1 tsp honey
2 tsps apple cider vinegar
After mixing everything add 2 tablespoons of the green tea.
Apply & let it sit for 15 min. Wash the face w/ lukewarm 💦. Oatmeal✨contains anti-inflammatory & antioxidant properties that help reduce redness & inflammation.
Apple cider vinegar✨has antiseptic & antibacterial properties + it restores skin’s pH. ACV has a pH between 4.5 & 5.5 which is very close to the ideal pH factor for skin.
The linoleic acid in rose hip seed oilhas anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe damaged or dilated capillaries.
Some may see immediate results, some may need to do this 2/wk for a few weeks.

Eat a sensitive diet avoiding spicy foods,🍸 & 🚬, manage stress & anxiety (videos about this on my YT channel) & ALWAYS wear sunscreen 50+. Irritation from UV light increases redness & flare-ups.
